Function: The Seniors' Ministry known as AGETA will plan and organize activities designed for senior adults to promote ministry to one another and include fun, fellowship, and encouragement.

Ministry Profile:

1. Ministry area and target is outreach/inreach with emphasis on senior adults in the Church and community.

2. Accountable to the Director of Ministries and the .

3. Spiritual gifts needed to perform task are love, giving, service, helps, and exhortation.

4. Persons in this ministry should desire to practice Christian fellowship among fellow senior adults. Also have a passion for planning activities for fun and fellowship.

5.  Anticipated time commitments for this ministry range from 3-4 hours a week not including special trips and events.

Ministry Responsibilities:

1. Get acquainted with all senior of the Church and discover their interests and activities theyenjoy.

2. Do a yearly survey regarding activitychoices.

3. Plan and organize monthly activities for senior adults that meet their social, spiritual, physical, andemotionalneeds.·

4. Take responsibility for including those activities on the Church  calendar.

5. Keep in contact with other Churches and their senior ministry to encourage community participation and fellowship.
