Function: The Outreach Director will organize and oversee the outreach ministry of the Church, including evaluating and planning for the future. Outreach involves the mission work of the Church.

Ministry Profile:

Ministry area and target is outreach and inreach with emphasis on community and families of Church disciples.

Accountable to the Ministries.

Spiritual gifts needed to perform task are evangelism, shepherding/pastoring, exhortation, helps, teaching,and administration.

Talents that will assist one in this area are being a good communicator and motivator.

Person must have a passion for reaching people at their point of need and leading them to a personal relationship with Christ.

time commitments for this task range from 3-4 hours a week and at least a one hour planning and preparation meeting/training per month.
Ministry Responsibilities:

Organize and oversee the outreach ministries of the Church.

Recruit and train TBC disciples for active participation in the various outreach/mission ministries.

Research, survey and evaluate the Church and community to determine what outreach ministries are most needed and if existing ministries are effective in fulfilling Christ's mission objectives.

Develop new ministries as needed to fulfill the outreach mandate of Christ (Matthew 28:19,20) .

Organize and facilitate ministry to promote a positive image of the Church in the community while reaching out to community residents.

Pray regularly for the outreach ministries of the Church.

Other duties as assigned by the Pastor and/or Director of Ministries.
